It is alarming that information about Wikimania 2008 comes so late. Community members need to plan for the summer and to decide whether to attend this conference or not, but they can't because no registration fee has been announced and the accommodation alternatives are unknown. Since this information is missing, it's also impossible to convince people to make the decision. Instead, they will make other plans for summer. The current list of attendees is embarrasingly short. Problems with pentabarf
Sorry -- I know this isn't really the place, but I'm not sure where else to ask.
I'm having trouble submitting an event on the pentabarf site. Very frustrating, because today is the last day for submissions!
I get the registration activation email, but when I go to the site and click on Person, New Event or Events, I just get a blank page in response. I've tried re-registering with a different name, using Firefox 2 & 3 and IE 7 and 8 (on Windows XP) and I just tried the https://samdutton@wikimedia.pentabarf.org/submission/wikimania2008 method, but that didn't work either.
Is there some other way to submit?
